Monday thru Friday Slow Cooker Meal Plan for the Fall
HAPPY CROCKTOBER!!
In honor of the first Friday in Crocktober, I have put together another meal plan for you. I love the fall, and I of course LOVE Crocktober, but I am beyond relieved that this week is over.
It was a doozy.
next week will be better, though, because I'm going to stick to a
(meatless) Monday: End of Summer Harvest Soup
Friday: Chicken Enchilada Chili

My eldest daughter turned 12 today.
Which really can't be correct, because I am nowhere near old enough to have a 12-year-old.
Five years ago I surprised her on her birthday with caramel apples.
This year she has braces and can't have them, and has requested sushi for dinner.
I'm pretty sure I can't find a way to make sushi in the crockpot...
have a wonderful weekend! Happy Slow Cooking this Crocktober!
have a wonderful weekend! Happy Slow Cooking this Crocktober!
The Autumn Sausage casserole is one of my FAVORITES! I have yet to make it for anyone else because I make it and gobble it all up myself. SO good! This year, I will make several batches and freeze some of them.
ReplyDeleteIf you do find a way to make sushi in the Crock Pot, PLEASE SHARE. I love sushi but don't like spending $8 for six pieces at a restaurant!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your daughter :)
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to the both of you!
ReplyDeleteThe rice could be made in a crock-pot. Then have a Sushi rolling party. Everyone has to roll their own!
Just wanted to say that I've been following your blog and trying your recipes for a couple of years. THANK YOU for some really great meals, made using your recipes. I appreciate that you write them up with humor, too. You rock!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this. I love having a plan with the grocery list already done.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your blog. LOVE IT. Anyway, wanted to let you know that I've posted a link to your blog on my most recent blog post. Which can be found here: http://randomdomesticity.blogspot.com/ I will take it down if you like, just let me know!
ReplyDeleteWait until your daughter turns FORTY, then you'll know true SHOCK.
ReplyDeleteSteph, I love your blog and your recipes. I like the new format of your blog, but I sure do miss the feature of recipes from prior years. I'm not organized enough to have a "rotation" so when I looked at recipes past, it was so much fun to rediscover one we loved.
ReplyDeleteI miss that, too, Pam! The little box that I updated each day stopped working a few weeks ago, so I took it off. I'll see if I can have Jennette work on it! thanks for the nudge.
ReplyDeleteDear Stephanie:
ReplyDeleteWhile searching for crockpot menu plans this past week, I stumbled on your site via teh google, and breathed a sigh of relief at finding exactly what I was looking for. Easy recipes that I if I did the prep work the night before, my ageing father could just turn on in the morning. I logged on this past week, only to see you haven't done another of these posts. I would love to see more of these, and if you ever consider a subscription based monthly meal plan service, let me know! I will be the first customer.
Thank you, Steph!!!!
ReplyDeleteReally appreciate the book coming out, finally cooking with slow cooker is cool!
ReplyDeleteEach time I watch a cooking show on TV, the chef emphasize on cooking with ovens instead of other method like slow cooker which can be equally good!.
